At Calvary Church, there are numerous opportunities for you to serve. Check out some of the areas below and then just fill out a Ministry Partner Form by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Once we receive your form, a ministry leader will be in contact with you shortly.
Children’s Ministry We want to foster a desire within each child to become a fully devoted follower of Christ. Kids are #1 at Calvary Church, and that’s the reason we have excited ministry partners who faithfully serve, love and teach our children every weekend at an age-appropriate, Bible-based level. Rock a baby in the nursery, sing along with preschoolers or lead a small group of elementary-aged children.
Connections Ministry To a newcomer, Calvary Church can seem like a big church. We can make it smaller for them by helping them feel connected. Through a smile, a “hello” or a word of encouragement, our parking ministry, greeters, ushers and café ministry partners play an important role in encouraging newcomers to become part of our community.
Student Ministry Our Student Ministry exists to reach every student in this community with the love of Christ. We reach out, disciple, connect, serve and worship together. In order to effectively minister and grow our students, we need leaders who will consistently invest time to build long term relationships with each student.
Worship Ministry Praise and worship is an active, integral link between God and His people. That’s why it’s our goal to create dynamic and passionate worship in a way that resonates with the hearts of as many worshipers as possible. Opportunities to be a part of this ministry are available for those gifted with musical ability who have the desire to exemplify the heart of true worship.
Growth Group Ministry Sunday mornings at Calvary Church offer great opportunities to worship through song and to learn the Word through Bible study. However, most people find it difficult to connect with other believers and to build strong relationships on Sunday mornings. Lead or host a Growth Group and take part in creating an atmosphere that will grow real and genuine relationships.
His Care Meal Ministry His Care Ministry provides an opportunity to express the love of Christ to those within the church. Through our Meal Ministry, ministry partners encourage those who have just returned home from this hospital, lost a loved one or recently delivered a baby. His Care Meal Ministry is a way to meet the physical and emotional needs of those within Calvary Church.
Program Team Because of the wonderful work that God is doing here at Calvary Church, we are growing quickly! As you know, we have already added more services and with more services comes more programs to stuff. We need lots of people to join us and help make Calvary Church happen each week!
Follow Up Team The Follow Up Team prays for each guest and writes them a handwritten note thanking them for attending on Sunday. If you have time during the week, come join this team and help guests feel welcome here at Calvary Church.
Administration Ministry Serving the needs of the church family every week requires a strong support system. Enthusiastic, devoted ministry partners who operate behind the scenes work as the backbone for the body. Print outlines, enter data, answer the phone or help on various projects to provide the administrative support needed within the body.
MultiMedia Ministry We want to make Worship and God’s Word as culturally and visually appealing as we can. By running the sound board or ProPresenter, ministry partners allow others to personally grow through the teaching of God’s Word. If you have experience in shooting or editing video, we would love to have you participate in our video ministry as well.
