Dan slipped into the back of the crowd at JAM Club and listened to the message about Godʼs gift of love to us through Jesus. I had seen Dan hanging around in previous weeks, but always at a distance. For some reason, this morning was different.

When the talk was over, we led the kids in a prayer to begin a relationship with God. After the prayer the kids were asked to raise their hand if they had prayed it for the first time. As I looked around, I was amazed to see Danʼs hand in the air! You see, he is not your typical JAM Club participant. Dan is a teacher!
Dan is now helping us at JAM Club and Iʼm thrilled to report that he will be participating with students in our new mentorship group on Thursdays after school. I believe this will be a big part of Danʼs new walk with God because church is a foreign idea to him. Iʼm hoping that this small group will be a good first step toward growing in Christ and becoming part of a local church.

Dan's story is a great example of Ben's ministry with Youth for Christ of Palm Beach County.

Local Schools that Ben is currently reaching are Independence Middle School, Jupiter Middle School, Bear Lakes Middle School, Lake Worth Middle School, and Osceola Creek Middle School.

a member of the NAIEE (North American Institute for Emerging Evangelists) which was a 2 year mentorship program with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
